I've honestly never looked forward SO much to drinking a particular bottle of wine that I had a dream about it the night before--but that's exactly what happened after my wife and I discovered Sones on an expedition to Santa Cruz to get some raspberry wine from Pelican Ranch next door (also a great product).

All I can say is WOW. Added to my personal Top 10 Wineries list and a new favorite. YUMMMM! Keep it up, Michael and Lois... it was great to meet you in the tasting room. :-)

I've been drawn to your blog from the comment you left on my post over at Wine Sediments on "How do you keep up to date". I love the eclectic mix of posts and your choice of books on this blog. You've spurred me into getting hold of one or two of the books but it will have to wait until after next week as I've got 2 WSET Diploma exams! I'll also have some time then to read your posts about buying wine in the UK which is where I'm based.
