		<description>Sorry to be pedantic Ken, but the U.K. is definately a full and active member of the EU (just not the Euro currency). The European parliament sets EU-wide guidelines for most things, including Organic certification and standards, and the individual member countries, including the UK, tend to have their own certification bodies which, as a minimum, meet EU standard - often with a few extra requirements on top. The EU tend to deal externally using it&#039;s guidelines for international trade &amp; labelling agreements, so individual countries, including the UK, will always meet these criteria, and then some.</description>
