<description>Finally recovered my notes from the Air-France lounge!
The Malt Whiskey smell-alike was a Limoux, the 2005 Toque et Clochers Haut Vallee - honeysuckle and peat with a good grip and medium length, an acquired taste I suspect but as a Whiskey drinker I appreciated it.
The interesting Bordeaux was Chateau Saint-Christoly 2003 Medoc, which had Violets, Tar and Menthol on the nose. While not completely balanced it ticked a lot of boxes for complexity; I wrote down &quot;A damn good Claret&quot;!
