I am going to Gloucestershire to visit a freind later in the summer, and she reccomended we visit this place while I was there, as she hasn’t been herself either. After reading through your fantastic report I am really eager to experience it for myself, and can’t wait!

Hi Peter, you’re right about the location – beautiful for a walk and plenty to do within a short drive. My next “Corner” post will discuss some good food we had on the trip.

I’d have loved to try the Bacchus and Phoenix, but they weren’t on offer unfortunately.

Good report. I enjoyed walking through the vineyards which are in an attractive location.

Unlike you, I preferred the dry style wines, the varietal Bacchus is good but their Phoenix was a stunner in a new world Sauvignon Blanc type of way.
