Interesting list, but I think you meant to say “Abadia RETUERTA Rivola 2004″ under the II Spain, as well as “Cortes de Cima RESERVA 2003″ in the Portugal I group. Come to think of it, there a few spelling errors throughout this list that you may want to check out. Cheers!

Ken, congratulations (and to Brandon for passing on these to you). Hope you have a great time, take lots of notes! I’m envious of that list, unsurprisingly heavy on California, but Germany and Hungary are well represented (even if Alsace is absent).

Hi, Arthur. Not sure how to answer. I’m not privy to details. I do know he has a number of events planned that, I believe, include additional wines. Gary is a rather unpredictable fellow. Perhaps Gary will comment here.

Not sure I understand the rationale of these groups (and I would hope it would be more than just getting a lot of booze into people to fight off the sea sickness).

Are they explorations of variety? Are they explorations of regions and how they contrast?
