I have picked, stomped and tasted the local wines of biscoitos. My daughter now lives in Hawaii. The volcanic soil, rock is very similar. The weather is milder 60 - 80 degrees year aroud. I have wondered if Hawaii would bre a place to grow grapes. They have one vinyard here and I plan to visit. It is cool at night and light mist comes with the trade winds nearly every night.
